Micepad product — not a print shop

Event badge printing at check-in

Micepad prints name badges when an attendee scans a QR code. This is event software, not a print shop, trophy shop, or business-card printer.

This is Micepad software, not a print shop

If you searched for “badge printing” and landed on print shops, promotional merchandise, or nameplate factories — that is a different industry.

Micepad badge printing is part of an event check-in product:

  • Attendees arrive and scan a QR code (or look up their name)
  • A name badge prints on a thermal or office printer
  • Staff are not sorting pre-printed badges in alphabetical trays
  • No-shows do not get a badge printed

What you get

From the badge printing product and pricing:

  • Drag-and-drop badge designer (Pro) and on-demand print on check-in (Starter and up)
  • Dynamic fields: name, company, job title, ticket type, QR code
  • Auto-print when check-in completes (typically 2–4 seconds per badge on supported thermal printers)
  • Batch pre-print when you still want badges ahead of time
  • Walk-in badges for guests who were not on the original list
  • Works with Zebra ZD421 and Brother QL-820NWB, plus regular inkjet/laser printers
  • SmartKiosk combines self check-in and printing in one station

Micepad is not selling printed badge stock as a print run. You (or a rental partner) supply printers and label stock. The software triggers the print at the door.

Pricing

Micepad plans (global USD, published on /pricing):

  • Free — up to 50 attendees (check-in; use this to test the flow)
  • Starter from $300/event — includes badge printing
  • Pro from $500/event — adds kiosk mode and the custom badge designer
  • Enterprise — custom, 3,000+ attendees

If an older Micepad page disagrees, prefer /pricing.

How it fits with registration

You do not have to move registration onto Micepad. Export attendees from Cvent, Eventbrite, Luma, Nunify, enavle, or any CSV, then import into Micepad for check-in and badges.

Cvent pricing is custom quote only. Micepad does not publish competitor badge-printing prices.
