Job Description

• Develop REST APIs for our web applications that will delight event attendees and raise the productivity of event organizers
• Writing code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a web application
• Solve technical problems of moderate scope and complexity
• Ability to work in a fully remote organization
• Design and implement high-availability and performant backend

Must Have

• Preferably a degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or related fields
• At least 3 years of working experience in a related field
• Professional experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Professional experience in MySQL, PostgresSQL, or any RDBMS system
• In-depth knowledge of Node.js frameworks such as Express.js and Nest.js
• Experience working with container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, etc
• Experience with one or more cloud environments (GCP, AWS preferred)
• Experience designing REST APIs
• Experience with implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Understanding design principles behind a scalable application
• Self-motivated and self-managing
• Ability to use Git

Nice to Have

• Experience with performance and optimization problems
• Experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, or other caching/queuing technologies
• Experience working for a software-as-a-service (Saas) product company
• Experience working with a remote team

1. You will be invited to schedule a 30 minutes screening call
2. You will receive a technical questionnaire to complete
3. You will discuss your technical skills for 60 minutes with at least one of the members of the Development Team and the Tech Lead
